Dive Deeper into Dance

As adults it’s really hard to find a dance class that doesn’t assume you already know everything. At Alchemy, we want you to feel free to move in your own way and be welcomed no matter how you feel the music. But if you want to grow as a dancer, push yourself and learn more about your body & music connection, we have some great options for you to expand your dance skills.

Deep Dives

Deep Dives are Alchemy’s version of intensives. They’re 2 hours a week for 4 weeks where you get to dive deep into something dance-related. The word “intensive” didn’t work for us... It sounded too… intense?

We just want to dig deep, have fun, learn about dance, about our bodies and how far we can go if we just allow ourselves the opportunity for growth and play. Offerings change monthly and range from meditative dance to choreography to history, culture and styling. Check out next month’s schedule and what past groups have done.

Performance Troupes

Performance troupes range in styles and levels, but are not competitive in the way you would expect. We have troupes that are attainable for any level of dancer, but there is a higher commitment level and expectation for growth than in the Deep Dives.

Troupes are on hold until spring of 2022. Please email us if you’d like to be on the mailing list to know when these will start again. We are also looking for fabulous instructors for troupes, so let us know if that’s something you’d like to apply for!

Teacher Trainings

Have you ever wanted to lead a class of your own? Or have you taken a few certification courses like Zumba, WERQ, or Soul Sweat, but still feel left in the dark like they didn’t teach you all the tricks of the trade to truly be successful? We offer teacher trainings too!

Our teacher trainings are comprehensive and give you all the tricks of the trade you need to be successful. Please contact us if you’re interested in learning more.
